Wow! We had been staying locally and walking past this place daily before finally on our last night we thought we would pop in for something a little more low key.. the owner wasn't technically accepting dine-in orders but kindly made an exception for us, popped the oven back on and served us a plate of the most mouth watering chicken, veg and potato gratin you could possibly imagine.. i can only believe it to be similar to what you might find at a traditional French home (owned by an amazing chef!). Quite a personality, I'm sure the owner was making fun of us \Australians\ who popped into a chicken shop normally frequented by the locals.. he was charming of course and we can only recommend you pay this local a visit!

Bordeaux's best kept secret. We spotted this place at the beginning of our holiday and were eager to return, and on our last day finally went for it. We chose to sit in for lunch and the service was fantastic, we immediately were made to feel like locals. The waiter explained everything to us and brought us the most delicious chicken with all the trimmings. Even being totally full we shared a fantastic creme brulé made in right in front of us and a fresh coffee. It was the best meal we had in Bordeaux and I can't wait to return.

My boyfriend and I were visiting Bordeaux on vacation and we were recommended this place for lunch. The food was outstanding and the owner, Augustin was extremely polite and helpful. We recommend this place if you would like a true experience of what food in France is about!

Stumbled across this lovely place on our first day in Bordeaux and picked up some lunch to take back to our air bnb. Probably the best rotisserie chicken I’ve eaten with some tasty sides. Pick up some dessert as well! Staff super friendly and helpful as well, highly recommend.
