Fyi this is my simple and sincere testimony about this school and a small tribute to the ones powering such an important task, even if the price is high and an outside space is lacking, let me state it clearly : it worth it. No doubt. As parents we are pleased by the education and administrative teams and genuinely impressed by our kid’s progress happening in a peaceful environnement and open-minded way. Yes, kids can learn english and french, writing and reading quite easily if they work a bit. Regarding our kid, he is almost bilingual after two years. But most of all, he is happy and curious about Life and other human beings. Thank you for all that you do !

When we have arrived in the middle of the academical year one and half year ago with three kids, who do not speak either French or English, Open Sky international has shown a very good performance to define the level of each child and manage their adaptation to the school and the country. On the top of that, since the first day of the Covid-19 quarantine, they have applied very good online education planning. Nowadays, (I guess this is a unique example) they keep both online lessons and physically presence at school. Our twins today 5,5 years old both can fluently read write and watch tv in english and french. Their elder brother 8,5 years old shows high academical success compared other international schools although he is just a bit above the class average. Thanks to all Open Sky family especially to the extraordinary efforts of the teachers that we owe a lot.
My daughter has studied for almost 1,5 years at Open Sky. She has arrived with no French and a poor English. We went back to our country with my daughter speaking fluently both languages, with impressive international experience and also with feeling that she had a opportunity to live the French culture. In addition, all support that we need, as we were foreigners, the directors, the employees from all levels, the teachers have been there to help us! Thank you Open Sky! Au revoir! Arriving in our country, we registered our daughter in a American school and the adaptation was super easy! Merci!
Looks great on paper and online. Sadly the reality doesn't match up. Please speak to existing or historic families who go here before entrusting your precious children to this school.
My children were stressed in that school, the school is oriented to the result not for children. Children after 1,5 years in that school couldn’t speak neither french no english. The director is money oriented and doesn’t follow his promises. The best decision was to change the school!
My 12 year old son is finishing his first year at Open Sky (6th grade) and we are very happy with the school. We are from the US here indefinitely for my husband’s work. My son spoke zero French upon arrival and has made excellent progress this year. He’s also basked in undivided attention from his teachers who are excellent... smart, compassionate, and engaged. I worried that Kai would have trouble adjusting to our new lives in France but on the contrary, he’s blossomed here and I attribute this to his experience at Open Sky.
Our family has appreciated all of the loving attention that our son has received from the great teaching staff at Open Sky. The individualized instruction has made our move from the US to Paris a breeze for our son. He will have lifetime friends from a diversity of countries and backgrounds. Thank you, Open Sky! And thank you to our son's amazing teachers!
Private International school that claim they are multicultural and welcome kids from all backgrounds, faiths and none. I was explained 1/3 of kids only are french and the rest are international ones and they are very open minded and anyone would fit in without a problem. They pride themselves to be the best bilingual school of Paris and have an inclusive policy with 2/3 of kids coming from all cultures and faiths. The yearly fees is 15k (including one off registration payment) and it ideally needs to be paid in full at the registration time. I enquired to register for my son who happens to be muslim with a mummy wearing the headscarf. I asked about the ongoing rowe going on in france with mummies wearing headscarf being banned to attend school trips by some public schools and she said the director of the school decided this would be forbidden as the school is secular and wearing a headscarf around kids is a form of proselytism - this might be unbelievable for some expats coming to France but be ready: all faiths are welcome except if you are a practicing muslim you cannot get involved with your child's school trips in the name of secularity ! I was told my wife would have to take her headscarf off (yes, you read that correctly !) or she would not be able to be present during school trips. There are loads of other schools available out there with a more inclusive mindeset
