The best place to rent a bike in Normandy and more if it is ebike. The bikes are superb, they seem fresh out of the box. You only have to see the workshop they have next to them as they work. Or the people or the shop, and of course Ludovic, ask for him to help them with the rental of the ebikes. Totally recommended.

Excellent service! I came without booking, so I have to make a reservation. However, its full till the next month, so Ludovic went out of his way to repair my bike in 20m without any fee. He was like: \I like to do some nice gesture for young student like you\. What a good guy.

Renting an electric bike here was the best decision I’ve made in a long time. I was here for the DDay anniversary and having a bike allowed me to access closed roads, ride straight up to events/sights, and fly past cars that were stuck in traffic. Even if it’s not during the hectic anniversary time, you should still base yourself in Caen and bike around. It’s an easy (and scenic) ride to Pegasus Bridge, Sword Beach and the Merville Battery. The staff was super helpful, spoke great English and made renting as easy as possible. Can’t wait to come back.

I am on holiday in France and came across ElectroBike in Caen. I am about to buy a new E-Mountain bike so it was a great opportunity to view the range they had in particular the Haibike MTB and maybe even buy one here! We were met by Ludvwig who was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of E-Bikes and MTB's in general. He checked my height and sized me for the right bike. I was also able to do a test ride with no obligation. I was soon sold on the Haibike Sdumo Hardnine 5.0 but unfortunately the store did not have a Large in stock otherwise would have considered buying one today. Ludvwig however to the time and checked for stores in the UK and found a dealer and price near to where I live in UK. I was very impressed with the service given at the Caen store. No pressure to buy and if I lived in Caen I would definitely recommend buying a bike or accessories from this store. This also proves a good point that buying from a high street store rather than on-line allows access to the very best in customer service, essential when spending over 2000 Euros!
