This was our first stop after arriving in Calais for a couple of days exploring various WW1 & WW2 sites around Northern France, this was an interesting little place to start our journey. With various displays including uniforms and artifacts from WW2, this was a good introduction to our trip. The museum is in the park and quite easy to find, especially using Google Maps. They don't accept card payment so you'll need Euros but it wasn't very expensive, 9 each adult. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Awesome!, A German Bunker Museum. Great place to visit with the family. Wow Ton's of WW2 Military Artifacts, if you're interested in this sort of thing! well worth a look and a great day out.

Situated within a former Kriegsmarine Communications HQ.. Other Museums may have equivalent uniforms and hardware. But.,the Posters and other paperwork are absolutely of world class quality.

Im sorry, but the air in this place is so bad that i cant recommend going there. I bet if you stay more than 60 minutes your lungs will rot.. Museum itself was OK and they had lot of old gear on display. But as a foreigner I did not get much out of the history events because there was not much literal descriptions in english and we did not take the virtual guide devices cos they were not included in 8 tickets(or we did not just get them). This place is cash only so remember to bring some. SIDENOTE: Pictures that contain Leobold naval gun are NOT from this place. This is a small museum in old bunker(or what ever concreet building) and has no outdoor relics.

Loved the way they have preserved the Nazi bunker in the middle of the park. The amount of relics and WW2 newspapers and document they have is astounding. They have integrated the history of Calais during the war into the whole history of the war very seamlessly and easy to follow. They provide audio guide in English, too. 4/5 stars because the smell of mold was pretty intense and in some rooms it was a bit annoying to breathe even tho I am not allergic. Worth a visit.

Imcredibly detailed retelling of history with audible guides for multiple languages. There is no issue if you're a non-french speaking person! Definitely recommend for any ww2 history buff who's interested in just reading about the french side of the war.
