Fantastic campsite !!!! We booked just a pitch for our tent but found it to be an excellent size and quite private with most having some form of hedge around them.... much better than other campsites we've been to. The toilets / shower blocks were always kept very clean and tidy. In fact the staff were always around tidying and organising the site. One young staff member even rescued our kids who had managed to roll their kart into the pond on our last morning (thank you !). The staff were really friendly. Our kids LOVED the kids club (thank you so much Natacha, Emilien, Matthieu and Flavie!!!!.... oh and Kolaya!) which meant that us parents were able to discover the local vineyards and enjoy the pool without kiddies for a bit. The camp put on a good amount of activities which could include all the family and never went on much later than 22h/22h30, thus making nights reasonably quiet for us tent sleepers. The pool area was clean and fun, the staff were good but perhaps the slide use needs to be better regularised with some little ones getting a bit stuck and the next person then coming down too quickly. My only tiny comments would be that the dechetierie (tip/recycling) area was not particularly pleasant or emptied often enough perhaps and the playgrounds around the camp were dated and in need of some serious updating and improvement. :-) In general we LOVED it and would go back tomorrow if we could !

Stopped overnight on the way to the Dordogne. Wish we stayed longer. Nicely set out site with good facilities. Site is very clean and well kept
Lovely and quiet place. Perfect location. A few minutes drive from Chambord and very close to Blois. The staff here are so so lovely. Matt was great with all of the kids. Damien was so kind too. Made us feel very at home. This was our 2nd year in a row coming here.
Expensive. Toilets were dirty, showers too. Food is pretty bad. Organization like a Centerpark. We had to wear speedo swim shorts at the pool. A lot of people from the UK. You have to pay for everything extra, like the kart's for kids.
The place where you will want to come back
Great campsite for young families, on site water park is fab with pools, slides and a lazy river. Bar and restaurant onsite as well with kids playground, games room, go karts and a small shop. A short walk to pretty villages and the Loire River, plus easy access to all the chateaux and historic towns.
Great site, nice and relaxed even with a 2 year old in tow. Pool is great but beware you need speedo's or tight shorts to go in the pool, they're very strict on this. They are available in the site shop for 7.50
Pros: The camp site was mostly clean. Most of the spots were shaded by big oak trees. Cons: The website and campsite map listed an electric car changer. However, it was not there! Very misleading! Also, the staff at the reception, restaurant and takeaway were uninterested and rude.
