We visited this place whilst on a Caravanning holiday, staying at camping Des Pinhiers. We came to enjoy a boat trip on the canal du midi and to learn about its history. We enjoyed our time here, although you should note that the boat office only takes cash (no cards)

Very interesting city, La Cité,city market and great food.
good showers - close to new town and 25 minutes from Old Town. Sadly very hot and little shade
This was a perfect spot to tie up the boat and tour the city. We stayed 2 nights. It is not a bad walk from here to the gates of the old city.
