We kayaked on a sunny day guided by Renaud. Safety conscious, thorough and knowledgeable, Renaud took us on an unforgettable nature tour. Humorous, Renaud knows how to captivate everyones attention, he shares some golden nuggets of history and took us through 3 of the most beautiful Calanques in Cassis. As mentioned safety is key, Renaud knows the water and surroundings very well and is always on the look out for you. Perfect for a family outing too. Our group was a mix of beginners and experienced kayakers, it was perfect for all. We had plenty of time also to take a lovely dip in the crystal clear waters! Highly recommended!

What an amazing morning with Renaud and Calanc'O Kayak. Great communication throughout, especially appreciated the message the night before confirming the weather was good for the next day. A thorough safety briefing and good instruction on how to paddle are included. The tour itself was very well planned, the right balance between information on what we were seeing and time to paddle in the small group. A welcome break on a beach in one of the beautiful Calanques. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Great guided tour, very informative. Wish we'd thought to bring a waterproof camera! Idea: The business could add in photos taken by the guide of each group for an added charge. Very lovely experience!
A must do when in Cassis! We took an early morning train from Marseille and were picked up at the railway station by Renaud's father (big thanks)! After a short introduction with instructions we were off for nearly 4 hours of kayaking in the beautiful calanques. We had a short stop in the d'En-veau calanque for a swim in the turquoise water. Renaud and Sveta were great instructors! We had regular pauses, in which Renaud told us more about the nature and geography of the region. Highly recommended.
Amazing experience. The guide was amazing and spoke very good English very experienced and even when one of the group tilted over was super professional. The calanques where amazing and the water crystal clear, just a bit cold. Over all most do activity and highly suggest Calanc'O.
These guys were awesome - what we thought would be a couple of hours in the kayak turned out to be a 4 hour excursion including visits to three of the hard-to-reach beaches, sightseeing and information on the region. Just be prepared to carry a moderately heavy kayak down some steps. We’ll be back!
Renaud was a great instructor and a great guide. He was clearly knowledgeable about the area and this shines through during the tour. We made contact a few weeks before the tour and the communication was great, Renaud also offered for his dad to collect us from Cassis station on the morning of the tour. The tour itself is a great length and you get to appreciate just how beautiful the region is. I will take the tour again if given the opportunity.
Renaud was a great instructor for our half day Kayak tour, he was excellent at communicating before the trip and was really helpful when we had to re arrange because of high winds. We were a mixed language group and he explained everything in French and perfect English. Was the best kayak trip I have every done.
