Beautiful abbey with a great and interesting history. Lots of information and artifacts to see as well. The staff was warm, welcoming, and accommodating - helpful for me, coming all the way from the USA on my visit! The guided tour was informative and engaging, and was done entirely in English - thanks to my great tour guide :) Thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would absolutely recommend visiting this lovely town and stopping by for a great piece of history!

This Abbey is still used for special occasions by the local townspeople but no longer has a resident priest. It was home to an order of Nuns up until as recently as 2006. It's most interesting features are it's architecture and more specifically the Roman architecture that is still visible. Again this isn't a disabled friendly location with small stairwells and tight spaces in several areas. The overall condition of the Abbey is excellent.

Lots of info unlike what people say in reviews. When you download the app pays cathares there is an abundance of info. Very Nice and well kept, special to visit the 8th Century remains of the church

Loved the church and the outside Parc. Robbedoes exposition was not our taste. Worth the ticket price of 6,-

Fascinating place. And the cartoon display was surprising but very interesting.

Historic abbey that has a crypt that dates to the 8th century even though the main structure dates to around the 12th century. The main attraction in Caunes-Minervois.
