This is the place where you take cable car to Aiguille du Midi. You will find \MONT-BLANC Natural Resort\ help desk. I strongly advice you to buy tickets online before you arrive here. Make sure that you have at lest 3 to 5h free time . You need at least 2-3 h to explore \ Aiguille du Midi\ and at least 1-2 at \Plan de l'Aiguille\. Price to go to Aiguille du Midi is 68 Euro and it is totally worth!

This is already highest point, for 65 per person they take you in 2 stages to the top and from there you can additionally book téléphérique tickets to other views like Helbronner and Italy. I'm not sure but for the Mer dus Glace it's best to take the train in the center of Chamonix.

Very busy but really worth the time. The trip to the top is something different and the view is amazing. You'll be busy for about an hour or so. The into the void experience was disappointing. Long lines, time in the void is limited and not much to see. We walked down the mountain from the first stop of the carriage. This takes about 2 hours and 40 minutes. It can be heavy for unexperienced people due to the steep decent.

Must see if you have a free day in Chamonix. Better to visit early morning when there are no clouds and not so many people. Buy multipass ticket online in advance (I had nice discount).

It is so cool to go to the top! Awesome views guaranteed. However, plan lots of extra time, as you'll be waiting in queues quite a lot.

The cable car was amazing - I was a little apprehensive as I'm not the biggest fan of heights but it was well worth the trip up. You have a stop on the way to the top, then we sailed through the clouds to reach the 'hypoxia point' where the air is thinner and you have to take care not to rush - your body does notice the difference. The temperature on the ground was about 24-26 degrees and the temperature on the top of Mont Blanc was 9 degrees. Many people took jumpers, coats etc. but we wore shorts and t-shirts and didn't feel too cold (probably because we're from England!). On a greyer day, however, it could have dropped below freezing. On the day we went the sun warmed us up. At the top there are different level platforms, where you have different views of the mountain and of the valley. Further up, by taking a lift, there is also a café where we had crêpes. It was fairly expensive for other things like sandwiches so I'd recommend eating before you venture up. Our trip was at 3.30pm and we headed back down to Chamonix at around 6/6.30. The 'step into the void' platform where you have glass beneath you above a precipice was closed from 5pm so we didn't have chance to go up but it looked exhilarating. Each cable car contains about 30-40 people and you do stand, but there are railings or other people to grab onto if you're nervous!

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!! One of a kind experience! Epic and mind blowing views! You change the cable car at 2317 meters to go with a second one up to Aiguille du Midi at 3842 meters. If you are in Chamonix this is A MUST experience! Be sure not to miss it cause it will be one of your highlight experiences of your lifetime!!! You feel super safe! The staff is good and professional. The views are just mesmerizing. I’ve been here both in the Summer and Winter.
