We came here for seafood expecting there to be all types of seafood but soon realised there was only shellfish but of very high quality. So we ordered the seafood platter which came with an assortment of king prawns, half a small lobster and some cervantes. They were served shelled on ice with a delicious aiola butter sauce and bread. We also ordered a mozzarella salad. The shell fish was good and the lobster was delicious, good value overall for this platter for a port restaurant. The salad needed more tomatoes and was a little overpriced. A decent place if you like good quality shellfish.

The service was provided in both English and French, the food was delicious and the seafood was fresh and tasty. The prices are a bit more expensive however worth it. As we didn’t book in advance we were offered only a table inside which was hot. Food took sometime to come although mostly cold plates.
The food was very good and tasty. Service was good also, the location is infront of the port. The only thing I have concern about that they serve food in a cold way, they dont have hot mix.
Excellent reception, one of the best seafood meals we've ever experienced, and with friendly staff. A good idea to prebook your meal, as this restaurant is popular. Also good if you speak some French!

Delicious, fresh seafood with a wonderful Vieux Port view.
This was our third visit to Chez Roger, the seafood here is delicious and super fresh. 58 euros for the platter pictured for two. Shrimp, oysters, mussels, two different types of clams, and whelks. Great lunch option in Vieux Port at any time, especially when it is 40 degrees C.
