Interesting Castle. Not so far walking from the Village to the Top. If you want to go up the Castle to see the top View be sure you dont have knee problem. I would say interesting

Very short, easy walk that is more stairs than path. The views of Kaysersberg and the vineyards are excellent even if you don't go up the tower.
Very nice views all over the city and the vineyards from the top of the tower
I enjoyed the hike a lot. Keyserberg is a beautiful town and the Chateau lets you see it from above. You need to climb the stairs but it is not strenuous at all. Climbing the stairs of the tower is a bit more difficult but my six year old didn't complain a lot. There are lots of castles in Alsace; if you are planning on a little hike, you can start from this one, and then decide if you want to see the others.
In general this small town is really beautiful, the climb to the castle is at the end of the town, you have to climb up some small stairs that are not very visible. Very little of the castle is preserved, but it is worth climbing the Tower and if you have time I suggest climbing the mountain behind the castle, there are very nice views of the whole area.
Very beautiful city & very nice castle
Lovely, pintoresque village. With a fantastic view from the castle to the black forest. In 3 hours you can manage to view the village and castle
Offres nice town and landscape views. The walk is easy and fast. Not the greatest castle but the view is nice.
