Originally posted the wrong review the the review was supposed to be of a hotel we stayed in. So here is setting it all straight cant speak for the university as I dont personally attend. The accommodation or student halls are another matter, we took our son here for his studies and I was both shocked and appalled at the lack of facilities for the students. In the building there are 28 students per floor with access to only 1 kitchen with a total of 6 hobs , at the time only 2 of which were working "TOTALLY NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. On the second day the electricity supply to at least two rooms failed. When reported by the students the staff informed them that as it was 5PM maintenance had gone home and nothing could be done until 9.30 NEXT DAY! bathroom in property so small that you can barely stand to shower or use the toilets. The list goes on staff unhelpful on arrival to check in students only one person working at the desk , who did not seem to know what he was doing. Erasmus rep was really unhelpful , despite students not speaking French fluently she and despite the students asking questions in English she insisted on replying in french. No access to the rooms was allowed before students signed contracts and therefore being liable for rents.( this seems like a " one sided contract" . The university seems ok and the City and surrounding area beautiful. Some of the halls accommodation is appalling. Think twice before you opt for halls of residence. The pictures you see on reviews certainly aren't of the one we saw.

Comme vous pouvez le voir, il y a un cafard dans la douche. Avec eux on a souvent ces genres de problème. C'est soit les cafards, soit les punaises de lits. Si je pouvais je changerais d'appartement. Mais pour l'instant je dois supporter. Malgré tout leurs traitements, ça revient. Et la cuisine est souvent fermé pour non respect de l'hygiène ou est en panne. Et c'est vrai qu'il y a pas de bonne boîte au lettre. Si tu as une lettre, tous pourrai bien la voler. Sauf les colis qui sont sous la responsabilité de l'hôtesse d'accueil. Le point positif, c'est à proximité de la poste, du magasin, des transports en communs, de la faculté... C'est bien situé.
