Such a beautiful church. I love the modest outside compared to the simple beauty of the inside details. Of course the famous \palmtree\ of the Jacobins is a wonderful sight. The choice of colours is quite unsual for a church and that was my favourite part. While I was visiting the cloisters it happened that there was a piano festival happening and I was fortunate to watch a piano seánce just by myself in such an incredible venue.

The construction of this Roman Catholic church began in 1230 AD, built entirely of red bricks (symbol of the city of Toulouse). The impressive vault reaches a height of 22 meters, which is beautiful and impressive. Since 1369 the church of the Jacobins is the resting place of the theologian and philosopher St. Thomas Aquinas. It is a must visit!
Very interesting place with intriguing atmosphere. Beautiful church!
A very ancient place where religion and art meet to deliver you a spectacular visit... You can see religious paintings, admire some sculptures and see the amazing architecture such as the human made palm tree at the very front of the church
Any place of prayer is something that calms the mind, in my opinion. The is a true oasis in the city. Come early in the morning or late in the day to see glorious light flooding through the windows. The cathedral and its cloister is a wondrous place with its incredible architecture and dedication to prayer. It will leave a mark when you step out of the door and back into the streets.
Visit of the former church is free. Very impressive!
Very impressive structure with a nice garden on the inside. Nice place to come out for pictures. Although vast open space on the inside of the church there is not much to see.
A very nice historical site/building.
