It's fine. Not exactly what I expected, but it's fine.

Cannot recommend enough. Better than any museum on WWII especially for kids. Seeing the history and being able to run in bomb craters and old bunkers was such a cool experience for the kids and adults. Easy parking and a quick walk but still plenty of information and very real and tangible history to be experienced

Lot of history from the World War II. If this is something you are interested, it's a must visit. Weather changes rapidly so always be prepared for heavy wind and rain also. It's an easy 1.5km walk roundtrip from the car park.

Place was not crowded due to the covid situation. There were many signs well explainig the invasion. How many young rangers died that day in the fight against the Nazis... itd impresive place

Must stop here if in Normandy. The Point Du Hoc is free to park and visit and one can spend hours walking around this German strong. Be a part of history by visiting the bankers and the lookout post. Till this day the bombing is evident by seeing the holes in the ground. It's good for any generation.

This was one of the Normandy DDay beaches that wasn't on my radar. Admittedly, I didn't do the research for this trip, my husband did. Of all the beaches I liked this one the most. Not over crowded, easy parking, absolutely stunningly beautiful cliffs and some German bunkers and pits from bombs exploded to explore.

Amazing. A must visit historical site to get an idea of the incredible feat undertaken by 225 men of the US Rangers.. (To scale the cliffs and capture the position) Many of whom made the ultimate sacrifice. The site is exactly as left in 1944

Here you can see the job done by the obus sent from the ships to prepare the rangers arrival. It's touching thinking to the German feelings as well the ones of the ranger that had an incredible mission of living importance as many others in this bloody 80km of coast
