To pay a 3 ‘COVID surcharge’ on top of the 12 ticket is somehow apt: one needs to be a serious fan of Vasarely and his interminable geometric abstractions to unquestioningly accept the quality and mode of display of the (oh so) numerous works. I couldn’t contain my amusement.

Vasarely presents large scale design perspective works, each of which is interesting but together in this brilliant spacing they create a surrealistic atmosphere. A very different experience.
An interesting journey back in time, through an exhaustive exhibition of Vasarely's important work. This 'time bubble' is also the limit of the Fondation where you do not find much about the contemporary context and, above all, about the legacy left by Vasarely's experience.
Unconditional recommendation in Aix-en-Provence- one should not be deterred by the negative comments. Alone the building from the outside is an event! And the exhibition inside shows huge large-scale objects by Vaserely. Wonderful color fireworks and a journey into the Op-Art-Art, which is not possible anywhere in the world. The staff is great! And also the shop is well sorted. absolute recommendation!
Excessively expensive for such exhibition. 12 3 tax COVID...? Why? Plus the building is in a bad shape. Sorry, Vasarely is a great artist. You will find way better (and cheaper) exhibition in Pecs in Hungary.
Recommended museum :) with guide.
Some beautiful pieces, venue needs a little tlc.
Interesting artist & curation of geometry & architecture art. Worth supporting to help renovate the Foundation.
