It's definitely one of the more interesting palaces, built purely to honour the local popular Bénédictine drink. The tour is 2 hours long where the first hour is for you to look around the museum (should approx take 45mins) and the second half of the tour is guided. The guide takes you down to the distillery and you get to know how this popular liquer is made. The recipe is a closely guarded secret (only 3 people know it at a time!) and the tour ends with a tasting (optional).

What a surprise. This palace /factory (or the other way around) is just amazing. Built 140 years ago, it is still operating and producing this delicious Benedictine (27 ingredients).

Very interesting place, although the history of the palace itself is short in European standard(around 100 yrs), the architecture style and decor is extravagant and eye widening. The liquor itself is OK, but nothing special. The temporary art exhibition inside is also interesting, so take a look before you go straight ahead to sip your liquor at the end of your visit.
Really nice visit here really beautiful museum and excellent going through distillery.
I could check it only from outside because of Covid. Lovely like a fairytale. Such as a Harry Potter story. Of course this castle is not related to HP but its eery and historical backround can rise an inexplicable and mysterious feeling in you.
