I have had two occasions to visit Compiegne, both times were to attend an educational conference. It's a small but interesting town with plenty of sights to see for the casual tourist or the historian as well. It is the birthplace of Jeanne d'Arc, who was the young girl who led the French forces to battle against the English and won a victory over them at Orléans. Unfortunately, she was burned at the stake by the English for being a heretic.

It is very accessible, handicap accessible with parking but not free . I love the fact that all their buses within the city are free. It's very cozy and friendly. So it's makes it easier for everyone to go and explore... I didn't check if there's toilet . There are shops to get snacks Incase you are tasty or hungry.....
That's Great all city bus and out of city bus available front of Gare de Compiègne. That's is the best part of this station
I liked this place because is small and comfy. And also I loved the machine that makes electricity to charge your phone by pedaling.
I love my town.
Nice train station that is quite welcoming. The facilities are clean and neatly kept, so no complaints related to this. Lots of food and drink options in the vicinity makes this a good place for travel. Well, not that there are that many options when taking the train to Compiegne.
People are willing to help. Just ask the right people for direction and you'll never get lost. It is a huge place of train transfers.
Good, but it is too small and there is no bathrooms.
