Good for kids
Lovely place. The castle gets better and better every time I pay it a visit. The arboretum is huge. Beautiful trees and shubs.

This was on a list of places to visit, so as we were passing by we thought we would take a look. We were surprised to find the village heaving with people, and car park attendants routing us to playing fields to park. It was a special day, they were having a Medieval fare with jousting, the French against the British. Even managed to down a French-made IPA beer. Strong and quite tasty. If there had not been the jousting, then there probably was not much to have seen. Yes there is the Arboretum with lots of trees. The castle is rather on the small side, though nice moat.
From the outside it looks good but it was closed. The Château AND arboretum are only open 1400 to 1600, the admission price is 5 for adults with some reductions for children.
It was closed when we visited. Information about the arboretum is available but not about Chateau d'Harcourt which we wanted to visit. It appears that access is through the arboretum. No arboretum... no chateau?
Amazing place fantastic trees and wildlife wish they had the upper floors open in the castle. Really enjoyed it, nice gift shop.
Not just a bunch of trees but all sorts of entertaining games and features for kids and kids at heart.
Lovely grounds with lots of outdoor puzzles for kids and kept my 3 year old entertained. We used this as a stopping point driving down through France and it worked well for this. The castle itself is somewhat small so best for sunny days.
Wonderful, peaceful. A great place to slow down.
