My Grandfather Died in the war on 20 August 1944 He was only 28 and is buried here. My Grandmother Died in 2014 and My father and I buried her ashes with her Husband. This year my Father Died and I have united him with his parents at last. Love you Dad x

It's so important to remember the young brave men & women who died in World War Two & the Normandy Landings. This cemetery is just one of many worth visiting. We travel each year around the November time to place memorial crosses, visiting several of the Commonwealth Cemeteries. The cemetery is located close to the village with a view of the nearby church. A peaceful and very pretty place, a small corner of France that will forever be the home of so many brave English, Canadian & Commonwealth service men and women.

Magnifique cimetière militaire britannique de la Seconde Guerre mondiale où repose 1005 soldats tombés majoritairement sur les plages d’à côté en secteur « Sword Beach ». Un véritable havre de repos et de paix. Très bien entretenu avec une multitude de fleurs aromatiques, un pur plaisir. Facile d’accès depuis une petite route de campagne et bien visible. N’hésitez pas à vous arrêter...

Beau cimetière britannique très bien entretenu. On y retrouve tristement plus de 1000 tombes de soldats anglais, pour la plupart morts très jeunes le jour J ou dans les tous premiers jours.
