Very beautiful forest area with the River Argent and many spectacular rocks and boulders making this quite a unique spot. Can get extremely busy in the summer.

Cute forest with easy paved circuit. The gigantic stones in the beginning are marvelous to look at. However it is not really well marked so be careful venturing in without a map / Google maps.

This is a beautiful spot, well worth a visit if you need a break from the beach. It does get very very busy after lunch, so try to go before then! Be very cautious if you have small children or are unsteady on your feet, especially in wetter weather. The town itself is quite sad, many closed businesses and houses for sale too, so go prepared unless you want to go to a cafe or similar for food/drinks (some great reviews for local places to be found on TripAdvisor) The trembling rock really can be moved! A lovely old French gent took my little girl and showed her the magic

Huelgoat Forest is an enchanted verdant wood with vast granite rocks, a sparkling silver river and moss covered trees. Its sits on the edge of a large man-made lake and has miles of marked walking and mountain bike trails. There are a number of interesting legends associated with the forest. A beautiful place to visit any time of year and easy to do short or longer walks.

Love this magical place and we often come here. It's open all year round and there is a lovely Creperie inside the forest.

One of my favorite walks in the region with beautiful, scenic sites as you walk through boulders and listen to nature. Not too hard or long of a walk. Some ways can be steep steps down, but worth it if possible! Like if you agree ️
