The service was excellent, the shop is well staffed. My girlfriend tried on 8 pairs of ski boots before finding the right ones and there was no complaining from the staff. We booked through skimium and got a good price.
Nice people but the bikes are not up to standard. Downhill bike came with reflectors, front tyre was destroyed, riser bar was facing forward like bull horns and got a puncture almost immediately as they use super thin xc tubes in the downhill bikes. Wasn't happy
Rented 3 downhill bikes this week. It all started of real good, nice bikes, friendly staff. After a few descends we started to have some mechanical issues with the bikes. The problems were pretty intense, but they all can be linked to the intensive renting and using of the bikes. At the start of our second day the owner of the shop came to us on a really arrogant way, yelling at us that we kind of abused the bikes, saying he has never seen anything like it. For the record, we didn't take any aspecially high jumps, none of us fall with the bikes and it suerrely wasn't out first time downhilling. So at the end we had to play a bill from over 200 for the repairing of the bikes. But like I said, the mechanical failures al came forward out of the intense use of the bikes over the season. So normally these cost are for the rental service. I think the owner could have come out to us with a more constructive arrangement instead of just give us the whole bill...
Great ski hire shop, Used Skimium arrived sorted and out in 10 minutes.
L'équipe du magasin a été superbe. C'est la première fois que je mettais des pieds sur des skis de rando et donc j'étais complètement perdues sur les réglages et même l'utilisation des fixations. Avant de montée j'ai demandé au magasin de l'aide et ils me les ont réglés puis ils ont pris le temps de m'expliquer comment les skis fonctionnaient. Encore un grand merci !
