Human Conet is a youth led NGO which aims to promote social and environmental justice through the use of innovation and technology. Our reason of being is to spread a culture of hope, a belief in change and an ability to produce. We are currently working on two projects: 1) Tierra Conet, Mother Earth's Protectors - is a collaboration with the Gobierno Mayor, Indigenous Traditional Authorities of Colombia. The project aims to combat the violation of Environmental legislation by foreign companies through a communication campaign and a legal action, the former strengthening the latter. 2) Human Conet, the Backbone of Tech Activism - will be a decentralized application, a geo-social networking tool designed to connect social and environmental actors (organizations, communities, individuals) and allow direct communication, collaboration and resource exchange. Neither one of these projects can be accomplished alone. We believe that collaboration is key to achieving meaningful and sustainable change, and we welcome any person / community / organization who wishes to co-create the tools to achieve social and environmental justice.
