Big open building with a lot of light and conveniently located in Bercy. There is a nice restaurant, but also some shops and bars. It's not only ING that resides here. Security makes sure no unwanted entries occur. The office floors are spacious and light. From the balcony you can see the Eiffeltower and manh other famous buildings.

It is shockingly bad that a transfer from your own Dutch ING account to your own French ING account takes more than a week. A transfer from Dutch ING to eg Banque Populaire takes 24 hours. And from the helpdesk?: \can take a number of days.\ (ie. tough, live with it)

The worst company ever! I did appreciate my experience until I decided to close my accounts because I left for another bank (home loan). All the sales technics are used to lock you when you want to move. I started to close my account end of January 2020 and we are 2020, December 8th and I still have to send a letter to prove that my signatures are the same (they say they did change during my time with ING,...). Every month they continue to charge fees for holding the account although I stopped all activities since January. Overall I did spend 50 that ING does not want to reimburse. I feel completely lost and locked. Well done ING, I was more than open to come back to you for my daughter's account and for a personal savings accounts but now definitively lost a family of customers. Poor management....remember that you exist because you do have customers!!!

This is theworst banking service I have ever experienced. For 13 days I was trying to open a bank account. Obviously, despite sending job contract, recent payslip, 2 pieces of id, proof of residency (proof of airbnb AND the signed proof of residence issued by my landlord) the documents have not been strong enough for the bank. Furthermore, instead of sending a refusal of opening a bank account (which would give me the right to apply to the state to make it mandatory for one bank to open an account for me), they are just sending another request of stronger documents. This is sick. Especially that ING in my country is considered as a pretty good institution. Here the French logic has its impact. No need to mention that at the call center they don't speak English.

Very bad experience. I had to move out of France and 2 years later I still fighting to close my account. I cannot even move my money to another bank because they refuse to change my phone number or address so I cannot receive the codes for the transference. The mails have to be sent with \informed delivery\ because otherwise the always claim that they did not receive any document. I already spent 300 euros in \informed delivery\ letters. Now a days all banks offer an on-line platform, so no benefits at all in ING bank.

I moved out of France. I asked them to close my account. They did not close it... They now charge me 5 Euros per month in fees because my balance was zero! Plus they charge interest on the negative balance. As a non resident of France, their website says I am not allowed to have a bank account with them anymore yet they refuse to close my account. While they contact me by email to notify me of these illegal charges, it is impossible to reply to them. They are a bunch of bureaucratic idiots. STAY AWAY!

Disappointed to see the comments below, I might be soon in the same situation, seeing that my letter for closing my account is still not accepted by ING. I had a good experience until before leaving France, when it was not possible to change my phone number. It’s impossible to contact them by email. I was always wondering which bank is better ing or Boursorama. When I closed my Boursorama account I had no issue.
