Absolutely hands down the best meal I’ve ever had - and I’ve eaten everything you can imagine all over France, Spain, England, Italy, Switzerland, Holland, Argentina, Chile, Africa, Mexico, Canada, and the U.S. Service was excellent, ambience was wonderfully charming, desserts were stupendous. The duck foie gras was the most beautiful combination of taste and texture I’ve ever had, and the truffle ravioli was to die for. The ratatouille was incredibly savory and delicious, I soaked up every last drop with the delicious bread. Plates were all completely bare when we were finished. We spent 180 or so for a three course meal for three people, and we just drank water - but it was worth every penny and more. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re anywhere near it make sure to go out of your way to try it out. Perhaps I was just especially hungry, but in my own opinion I genuinely feel like you would be hard pressed to find something as delicious elsewhere.

Authentic, timeless small family French restaurant with superb service and kitchen. Served me a perfect and oh-so delicious steak (entrecôte). I recommend wholeheartedly if you want a place to take you out of the modern, posh & elite feel of the 8iéme district (nothing wrong with that of course).
It is a restaurant with a wonderful mood. The chef and staff are really friendly. Above all, the cuisine is perfect!
I really recommend the filet with shallots! It was cooked nicely and the shallots and salt gave it an extra flavorful taste. We were also recommended two desserts and both of them were delicious. The service was impeccable and they also offer English menus, which could be helpful to those who don’t speak French. Overall, it was a great dinner experience for us :)
Needed an informal lunch place in Paris - the proverbial needle in haystack. TA came through and i found JJ. Welcomed by an amazing waitress who spoke perfect english and brought the english menus without asking. I had the foie gras and it was brilliant and then for the first time ordered scallops which were cooked and seasoned perfectly (served with delicious french fries). A great Chablis the perfect accompaniment to a great meal.

Ridiculously friendly and accommodating staff only bested by their food. This is an authentic, family-run French restaurant in a quaint and relaxed establishment. The truffle ravioli and honey foie gras as starters were both incredible. The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the duck breast was to die for. Cannot rave enough about this place, and this is coming from eating at Laurent the night prior (as a comparison). Highly recommend!
Spectacular food- the best French food we had in Paris! The duck and fish was phenomenal, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The profiteroles were the perfect end to an amazing evening.
