Friendly courteous bi lingual hosts Rachel (French Canadian) and husband Xavier is French. Beautiful French manor property 15 min south of Pau with Gorgeous Pyrenees Mountain View. Delicious, organic and local home cook cuisine is served upon request. Yes. Rachel can COOK fabulously. Don’t forget the local white wine :) Fantastic location to enjoy nature, peace and serenity. It’s private but not isolated. Be aware of narrow long winding road up and down the property. A fair price to pay for the privilege to enjoy the breathtaking view. Will return and highly recommended.

Clos Mirabel is the epitome of a peaceful getaway! The hospitality of Rachel and Xavier was unforgettable and our children enjoyed it immensely! They welcomed us warmly without being overbearing and they were especially helpful with a few unexpected logistical challenges that we encountered. Clos Mirabel has also mastered the art of serving healthy food that is incredibly delicious- HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Wow! What a view. And the hosts Xavier and Rachel - by far two of the loveliest people you'll ever meet. Clos Mirabel is a veritable haven of peace, yet only 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Pau. As soon as you enter the drive way, you are muttering happy expletives, ones like 'this place is ruddy awsome' or words to that effect. Go stay here. Eat yummy food. Sit by wood burner. Gaze at view. Heaven!!

We stayed there for a year (lucky us!). It is an awesome place, with fantastic hosts. The accommodations are bright, clean and comfortable. Ann and Andre will give you lots of ideas about where to visit, eat, etc. The scenery is unbelievably beautiful!
Ann!!! Brendan and I are so thankful to have met you. We reminisce about our time spent at Clos Mirabel last summer (2017) and couldn't imagine a better stay in France! I am so happy we stumbled upon your Homeaway listing, your property is absolutely stunning. We are still laughing about our road trip to the train that ended up with us stranded for the entire day after some "car trouble" and thankful that we came home to you, wine and the breathtaking view! You and your husband were the most gracious hosts with fantastic breakfast. Your house attracts really wonderful people as well, we enjoyed meeting other travelers. We opted to stay in the Main Bedroom, it was a beautiful view, comfortable bed and fantastic bathroom. The pool and view of the Pyrenees at sunset are not to be missed. Hope this finds you well, hugs to you both!
