This restaurant has topped my expectations and is in big contrast to the restaurants we've been to last few days in the same surroundings (Cassis). The terrace is beautifully situated at the Ciotat harbour and is without too much traffic at night (mid summer). The Italian restaurant with French Mediterranean look is really a eye candy for food lovers. It breaths the French joy de Vivre but has the food passion of La Dolce vita. This is really a nice place for a good dinner with a family and even with smaller children. The personel is friendly and speaks some English, but French is preferred clearly. The menu card is on a tablet which works quite well. The wine list ( I had pinot Grigio st. Anna from Sicily) is good for the situation and the courses aren't too complicated. The Burrata is on the menu multiple uti I really missed some more fish on the menu (we're in a harbour!). Make sure to make a reservation and park just before the evening markets starts. Where we parked, a few blocks away was paid parking until 18.00 so we didn't have to pay. It's recommended to make a reservation!

Kind of a rip off, small dishes and not very tasty or authentic

Nice place to have a meal and people watch. The service was a bit slow and the pasta was fair. The charcuterie was good.

After a short walk along the boulevard we reached De La Vigne à Oliver. Many people were eating so it should be a good place. We order on recommendation from the waiter a nice rose wine, it has a little dry taste but together with the food we want to eat give it just that character we like. The food as seen on the pictures is more than tasty better to say delicious. The buffalo mozzarella wow you have to taste it one of the best I have ever taste it. The home made spaghetti is cooked nice al dente, just looks like a simple dish, but the taste is superb. As dessert 2 panacottas nice soft and creamy as it should be. Conclusion if you are in La Coitat you should bring a visit to Da la Vigne à Oliver to eat some of their favourite dishes. Cheers

They charged us a 'droit de bouchon' which essentially is a corkage fee. A corkage fee for each bottle of their wine that we had with dinner?? I'm an owner of a bar in France and this is the first I've ever heard of this. Shameful little scam and a warning to tourists and yachties who think about going here.
