As one of the famous brands of Chocolate/Macaron, I think they will still have tons of customers even if I rated it at two-star. There is no doubt that their product is awesome – especially their Macaron. However, this is to comment on the staff in the store at Carrousel du Louvre. I totally understand that the location (beside Louvre Museum) spoils them with tons of tourists who usually buy boxes of chocolate. However, I didn’t feel any respect when visiting the store… One of the examples - I asked the staff for recommendation on Macaron flavour, yet the staff fingered at one of them (the Chocolate one as that’s their flag product) with reluctance… I further asked if any else, but what I got is “then No.” hmmm so your staff training only taught you to sell chocolate? I bought a passion fruit one at the end, and it was super delicious… Anyway, if you don’t mind the service quality, their product quality is super high. Visiting another store might be a solution lol

Expensive but definitely too quality chocolate. Had their macaron and other chocolate and it's divine. The people are also very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend

Bought chocolate for a friend back in the states and macaroons for us to try, a set of 6. The macaroons were so soft. It just crumbles in your mouth in a good way. I would say it was bordering overly sweet because of the rich chocolate inside. However, the macaroon shell itself was made perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place. Of course the chocolate was delicious.

I've been quite regular customer of this brand on special occasions and generally quite happy with it, however at this particular store I’ve experienced a very upsetting incident that was initiated by one of the sales persons. I’m a foreigner living in France and while I speak average french, on the particular day I was in a rush to buy gift and spoke english to the sales person to complete the transaction quicker. Seeing my french card, she said that I should be ashamed of myself of living in France and not speaking french. While trying to politely point out in french that I do speak the language however it is not up to her to judge me through such an attack, she continued insulting me. If I had more time, I would have certainly asked for a manager to intervene. This brand is in the business of expensive luxury chocolate and not in a business judging people. Nobody deserves a treatment like this.

Loved its eclairs and its way of packing one eclair per box to maintain individual taste if buying various flavor available, which will become slow if buying for group.
