Delightful! An oasis of shady calm. Very welcoming. Relax in their lovely garden after your visit to the chateau at Monbazillac. You can walk up to La Maison Vari from the chateau car park.

The food is locally sourced. Fresh and ideal light lunch. Service is personal and delightful. Would highly recommend for a mindful lunch to absorb the atmosphere of France and leave your cares and hassle and bustle of the world outside.
A simply perfect lunch in the garden here. Excellent menu and wine at refreshingly reasonable prices. Very good, friendly service. Background jazz too. Strongly recommended.

Gorgeous place. Lovely staff and really good food and wine. Lots of things for small people you play with as well. Recommended.
Very nice for an extended lunch...We visited the chateau first then went here for a lunch..three adults and a teenager. Got the mixed plates with cheese, meats and bread plus some local wine. All came to 38 euro which was good and the quality of the food was nice. The wine was very well priced by the glass and I have to complement the staff who were so pleasant. Highly recommended.
Don’t hesitate for the strawberry and Monbazillac sherbets
Very nice and hospitable host! Speaks English and Mandarin too! Amazing. Wine is good and well worth the price.
