Very nice mountain area in the French Alps. We visited it during summer time, so we mostly did hiking and cycling. Beautiful scenery.
Love this place. Easy to get to. Good Blues and Reds. Could do with more buttons for the younger ones. Restaurants great. Price ok. Ski school friendly :-). Good height (2050) so plenty of snow
First time in La Plagne. I chose this resort because it was positioned as a beginner friendly resort. I can verify that it is and that the majority of the slopes are gentle blues with the odd steep section. The resort itself has a variety of good quality restaurants across multiple little villages. La Plagne is actually a collection of little villages. Most hotels are on or within a short walk from a lift or piste. There are over 450km of piste and enough variety that even the most ardent skier would not get bored. Les Arcs is accessible through a cable car to extend your skiing pleasure.
An amazing place to ski or snowboarding! Me & my family trully love this place with its magnificent views and beautiful slopes. A must place to go!
Been to several French resorts and this one of our favourites. Slightly gentler runs which were to our preferences. Nice runs into forests which are great in the more chilly January weather. Though many high snow sure runs making this a good option for Christmas and Easter bookings. Ski runs were well maintained with good snow making. Villages are quite pretty for French standards. Plenty of high capacity fast chair lifts though still odd short queue (not an issue for us) in late Jan. Plenty to explore and was great having a day in Les Arcs. Overall would highly recommend.
Great resort, friendly people and not too many queues.
Amazing fun!! Lots of skiing done and very easy access to Les Arcs! Great party for New Year's Eve!! Loved every minute!! Lovely people, efficient lifts and over all just spectacular!
