Everything about this place was excellent. One person serving, preparing food, and cleaning dishes with extremely friendly and prompt service and they had time to give local recommendations. We tried all the oysters and the house special were my favorite, accompanying breads were delicious. Was very impressed.

I tried seafood and I was very content. I selected a menu including little bit of everything (see the photos) It costs around 14 eur. Make sure that you ask some advises about the food. Try some seasonal fish and wine. It is a bit difficult to find the restaurant.
They only serve apéro-style seafood and meat pâtés, no main courses, but they do it well! Oysters and snails were really fresh and good
Superb oyster bar, delicious local produce and lovely service. We stopped here on a whim, my wife wanted oysters and considering the location we expected a tiny bit of a tourist trap. We were wrong, this was one of the most memorable spots we ate at during our visit. No surprises as to why this is one of the top spots to eat for foodies in La Rochelle. This tiny oyster bar has superb local produce, an outstanding wine menu and friendly service. While the terrace at the front is great for people watching, we were with our daughter so the waiter kindly took us out back to the quiet alleyway where we ate in peace. We chose the panache of oysters and some local saucisson and were delighted to have it served with delicious bread and local butter. The rose from the Ile de Rai was great and the white wine spot on. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to get a real taste of the local food!
Small place but cosy if you are a couple. We really enjoyed the oyster tasting plate.
Love the place. Great selection of local fresh sea food and drinks. Big thanks to Martin the manager who's super friendly and knowledgeable on the restaurant products.
Great little oyster bar, just off the harbour. A fine selection of other shellfish also available. Good selection of wine to accompany your food. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Everything what was served was fresh , gentle personnel, also regarding kidz (we arrived with 2, aged 11 and 3). Location is - concerning the size - a little tight, but „cozy“. Prices were personaly seen rather low. Restaurant can highly be recommended.
