Had no idea what to expect here. We basically made a late decision to go after deciding to explore the old town. I would fully recommend it. The preserved animals are so interesting and for me especially since they were so old. I guess not for everyone but very interesting none the less.

Great for kids and for adults, we did only 1 hour and half, better to give it 2 hours

What a great museum! My kids loved the minerals basement and the great range of animals on display. The building is delightfully quaint and the visit is realitively quick. The exhibit about the fauna of the region was the most interesting and informative for me. Highly recommended for a rainy day!

The greatest array of stuffed animals I have ever seen . A great afternoon out. There are many different sections including dinosaur bones rare minerals and rocks and stuffed lions gorillas and every bird you can imagine. Superb

Absolutely fantastic! Unbelievable collection of animals, fish, etc. Gorgeous gardens. Beautifully curated. Four floors of natural history, cultural, religious, political, and social history and artifacts. Great family venue.

This is not the NH museum of New York or London, that is clear, however, as far as regional museums of this type go, it is excellent. The displays are clearly labelled (in French) and the variety and quality of the displays are excellent. However, the lack of language translations and the absence of a themed sequence might make the museum more suitable for the ardent enthusiast than for the casual passerby.

We visited the museum 2 years ago while there was a taxidermy exposition going on. Mind blowing! They managed to put together an amazing collection. The park behind the museum was nice as well.
