Very friendly staff, cheap camping (7.1 for 1 man with tent and bike, shower included in the price and electricity plugs in the lavatory for charging mobile phone and such). Also once every second pitch place there is box with 4 CEE electric outputs. Camping is quite small, which makes it cozy. 2 trees divide pitch areas, and they provide some shade also. Good grass, trash cans near the sanitary building, and lines for hanging clothes to dry just behind the same building. 2 lavatories for dishes on the side of the sanitary building, 4 toilets, 2 showers, 4 lavatories, but enough for the size of the place. You can see the camping from the bridge to the left side when coming here from the city.

Loved this place. Very basic but clean. Bakery trucks comes in the morning between 8 and 8:30. Great for bike tourists. No food onsite but town is 10minute walk over the bridge. A fantastic stop as food in town reasonable good quality and filling after a long dat in the saddle.

Arrived on this campsite on Tuesday 18th September 2918. Appeared to be divided into 2 sections. The first part seemed to be a permanent site for Irish Tinkers? They had their washing machines and spin dryers beside their caravans! However, the ones we spoke to were very pleasant, in particular, a small boy called Dan who sped around on an electric cart. The other half of site was for the Motorhomes/caravans who were on the move. Quite noisy with trains and barking dog! Would not stay again.

Nice situation plenty of spaces and great views of the town. The facilities were adequate for a 1 night stay. Don't arrive before 3pm.

Cyclists: simple, quiet, pleasant view, ask them for a canal map of you need one.
