Amazing! Currently under renovations, but incredible how it has survived from the damages in WWII
like
Small and beautifully rebuilt Gothique Cathedral.
Lovely inside but sadly most of exterior is masked in sheeting while they carry out maintenance BUT IT IS STILL OPEN
Undergoing renovation. Doors were locked.
Le Havre is small and is not city for fun. One day more than enough. Paris is 2 hours away
Under renovation so one can enjoy the interior only, August 2019
Great church to see the effects of WWII. The pictures inside and the cathedral now show what a determined congregation can do to overcome adversity. The crucifix on display with shrapnel damage is moving. While the majority of the church were destroyed, the façade was left and rebuilt around. It may not be the most fancy church in France or Le Havre, but the crucifix is worth stopping to see.
A lovely building both inside and outside
