I hesitate to recommend Le Maghreb because it's a long-time favorite. Because it's slightly off the beaten track, it's frequented largely by couples and families from the neighborhood - and for regular tourists who can't wait to come back to Cannes so they can enjoy the fabulous authentic fare and homey welcome. I've been eating here for years, as often as I can, and am always delighted and reassured by the unvarying tasty, copious, authentic and reasonably-priced dishes - and the warm welcome extended to all. But please, don't tell anyone else. If word gets out, there'll be lines all the way down the street. PS You'll insist you're full - but it would be a mistake to pass up the wonderful deserts and a refreshing mint tea.
