The French don't have a reputation for friendliness, but this barista was so. nice. He asked questions and made small talk and served great coffee. Got a V60 and an Americano.

We have been intending to visit for ages but there is no online booking system and they are always full. Eventually we used the phone. We had a lovely lunch and will definitely return. The service was very good. Nothing to fault in any way.

Carrot cake is amazing. It is perfect with their coffee. Full of cinnamon flavor.

Great coffee and banana cake. We were travelling so I took coffee to go. The lady kindly wrapped everything in a paper bag and what I like most is the recycle napkins and a straw for the orange juice. The only thing is missing is quick fresh salads to go.

Worth the effort if you’re not a local. I might not come from LA, but... we drove 14 km for lunch here and now know we would go twice the distance. She makes all the goods. Generous portions. Plenty of flavor. Super neighborly and tolerant of our English-only. We were the oldest customers by about 15 years, which doesn’t bother us but might impact some. The music when we were there was some fun hip hop. We had pea and goat cheese quiche and a cinnamon roll and a chocolate chip cookie and it was all delicious. Indie coffee shop vibe and a healthy respect for tea drinkers - the Earl Grey was very nice. (How can I get the French to know that the tea bag goes in the cup before the water? ...been trying for two weeks....) Super clean, good contemporary design, smart-feeling spot. Best for solo or pairs, but groups of three or four can find a spot, and there is seating on the little walk street. Highly recommend.
