Great Fondue & great beer of Brasserie du Mont Blanc. The owners are also the owners of the Chalet at the top of the restaurant, and they are super nice and helpful.

There is one thing strange with French restaurants: if you ask them to seat where you would like they say no, it's for 4 or 6 or 8 people even if the restorant is completely empty. I had a meal (which was excellent, by the way 5 stars for that ) but you never get what you want, they, the waiters want to be in charge all the time. It's like you are for them there rather than the other way around... and if he reads this right now, he would know why he didn't get any tips..

The worst food in Les Menuires. The 'house foie gras' was served with sliced bread like you'd have toast with, and no chutneys like was said on the menu, for 16 EUR...are you joking. The chicken burger was basically a supermarket bun with slices of chicken from a packet, with some ketchup and sliced terrible cheese. There were 8 scallops for the scallops dish, directly inverse with the quality, how cheap must they be to serve that many. Duck was destinctly mediocre and chewy. The green salad was the best dish. Wine was nice and good value. Much better places to eat in Les Menuires. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
