Amazing camping run by Dutch in an old beautiful castle, great views, loads to do for the kids with indoor and outdoor swimming pool, trampoline, playground, tennis and much more to explore. We booked one of the mobile homes but the camp grounds looks very nice as well, lots with great view over the valley. One restaurant open 17 for drinks and from 18 for food and separate snack bar opening 18. All in all overwhelmed by the location and friendliness of the staff. Break can be ordered for the morning after until 8pm each day at the castle and can be picked up in the morning after between 8.30 and 9.30, works like a charm!!!

Really peaceful, quirky little place. Old chateau with lots of nooks and crannies. Indoor pool was on the cooler side and there was a problem with getting hot water to the showers when we were there but it was rectified promptly. Friendly owners and superb views, as well as very handy for the A75.

Ever dreamed to spend the night in a real 14th century Castle? Here is your cue. Owned by the local dukes for centuries, the new owners -only a few dozen years!- will make you feel at home in their wondrous abode.

The camping is beautiful with the castle and views, but was not for us. The main issue that we had where the wasps and mosquitos. During the day we could not eat anything outside of our tent without there being 4 wasps all over us. During the evening there were lirerally swarms of mosquitos, forcing us to sit in our tent. Another complaint would be the noise. We stayed close to the entrance and would hear the staff / garbage truck coming and going pretty loudly almost every day. We did not find the atmosphere to suit us (a couple). The places around the trampolines / swimming pool can be really loud with kids. On the more positive note, the owner was really great in providing us with tips for activities in the area. The facilities were okay / good and the swimming pool is really nice. The views from the hill and castle are a nice plus.

A very nice camp ground in the French countryside. There is a lovely castle where you can have a classy room if you don't want to sleep in your tent. There is a bar, restaurant and a large swimming pool. The breakfast was excellent. There seems to be lots of Dutch people staying there as the manageress speaks Dutch. The camp ground has a good family atmosphere and seems very relaxing to hang out for a while not doing much. Of course there are things to see an do in the area if you're curious or restless. The staff are all smiles and even chatty: this shows a layback lifestyle quite different from the fast speed of the big tourist traps in the south of France. Recommended!

Disappointing stay. We chose to stay here 2 nights after having stopped here late August last year because we really liked it. In the August we stayed one night on our way back to UK. We were given great pitch with grass overlooking beautiful view of valley below. Restaurant was good and friendly. This time around we were given a horrible pitch, no choice and no view and with no grass, right next to kids trampolines. Having driven from UK we were tired and just wanted some food and sleep. The Restaurant was closed due to illness, so we had a bbq instead. As the evening progressed the children became louder and also started swearing at us in English, which was quite funny at first, but then became abusive. Our 11 year old daughter was reduced to tears. We decided to leave after one night having paid for two. The owner said we should have moved pitch but by this time it was too late they should have offered a choice on arrival. We were also not offered any money back but were not really expecting that. Showers were clean but toilets were not. Expensive. On the plus side the pool is lovely and big. Make sure you can move pitch if the one you are offered is not to your liking.
