Lille, capital city of North of France Nice city to discover for round trip between London , Brussels and Paris Easy going by high speed train Eurostar That place is good, the owner’s Familly are cheerful with nice welcoming The menu is interesting with good dishes We tried salad quinoa with legumes and traditional beef steak The taste is good The food is fresh and hand made ...! As well the place is clean To finish, we order the « Café Gourmand ». The presentation of the « Café Gourmand » is nice and the choice is rich It show a sample of the traditional pastry and French desert like , lava chocolate, fruit salad, Eclair, chocolate mousse and many others , really I never see choice like that And the taste of the food is really delicious, it is a good culinary experiment As a consequence, we recommend that place Enjoy it too

Food is absolutely well cooked and tasty. It is absolutely worth to go, mainly if you want to have meal with no rush. They provide menus at fixed price that are really convenient.
Went with group of 16 at relatively short notice, but everything was superb. Fish of the day, red tuna was outstanding, grand cafe was enjoyed by all those who chose it. Super srvice and charming hostess too.
Loved the Welsh food. I am vegetarian and they customized the dinner for me n my girlfriend.
Great traditonal food, quite a lot of nice choices on the menu, and the dishes I got were delicious ! Good location, fairly close to the centre and with a lot of bars nearby. Finally, the service was impeccable !
Although marked 'ferme' this restaurant was actually open, and served wholesome fresh food in good portions. Wine (gamay) totally drinkable, steak nicely cooked but as it was rather thin rare came out medium. Cafe gourmand turns out to be a compilation of multiple puddings all great. Service good and accomodation made for lack of French ability. Will be back.
Small restaurant with good service. Nice food. Certainly worth a visit.
Took the menu. Starting off with the croquettes which were mediocre, but ok. My main course was a stew of lamb with carrot porridge. The porridge was fine, but the stew cold. Every dish was sided with the same salad. The madness ended with a creme brulé that although was based on chicorée, but still strived to be a synonym for being flavourless.
