Not as good as the FMM on the next street but still good memories
like
I worked 18 years in various schools of the Catholic University and it is a worthless institution. To understand the university, you have to understand the history of Catholicism in France, which basically comes down to a bourgeoisie that favours privilege over merit. This attitude is still present in French Catholic education today, which explains its low International ranking. It might suit the children of rich French families but it is not a good choice for serious, international students.
I stayed there for a few months then I left. I had a great welcome, the university itself is quite open and diverse, which I liked. But I feel like they just wanted the money. Some members of the staff just didn’t care, and I felt like they were rather protecting their reputation than actually helping the students. I think the help they were giving was just so that we feel like we’re actually paying money for something. The university just promotes its name and the programs don’t really fit the given expectations. I wouldn’t give it another try to be honest. Again, I’m not offending any member of the staff, just giving my own opinion. That’s what reviews are made for after all.
Great place to study
Good place to choose in Lille for study.
L'école possède plus de 30 000 étudiants à plus de 10 000 l'année par élève. Avec de tels fonds, ils pourraient rénover la grande et magnifique chapelle saint Joseph. Il n'en est rien. Leur but étant la rentabilité, ils vont la détruire pour construire une immondice pouvant abriter 5000 élèves en école d'ingénieurs supplémentaires. Ils ne demandent même pas l'avis des élèves qui payent pour cette horreur. Mais le pire n'est pas là. L'archevêque directeur de l'université est complètement d'accord, quoique, peut être qu'il n'est pas au courant. A l'heure qu'il est-il doit être au ski ou aux seychelles. Bien à vous.
L'université ne peut plus être catholique, il vont raser l'église située en face sur leur terrain (chapelle géante). Pas très catholique et bien triste !
Si quieres entrar tendrás que ser alumno...o trabajar allí. Las medidas de seguridad son máximas, necesitas un pase para pasar la entrada.
