Really struggling to understand why the terminal was already too small even when the new building opened. This lack is planning goes beyond incompetence and is extraordinary. Departure lounge is too small to accommodate all the passengers leaving on a 737 and I'm not even mentioning 2 flights departing at the same time. Arrivals is also chaos with the lack of space to queue for immigration clearance and once through passport control it doesn't get any easier trying to retrieve your luggage on the carousel. A small airport like LIG should offer a stress free experience, most airports of similar size do but not here.
Very quiet today, plenty of parking spaces, no queues anywhere and the flight was on time
It's been some years now since travelling from this airport. The cafeteria area could do with being a little larger and like many cafes the table clearing could be improved. But that said, although I've never used it there is a car hire and regular taxi services which must give the more access to the airport? Limoges small airport has come a very long since the early days. With many improvements to their building, parking area and their systems which allows people to move through facility quickly, safely and smoothly. Yes, it's a pleasing experience.
Small airport with a cafe, tabac, travel agency and the car hire across from arrivals. Security doesn't take long but departure lounge is small and can be cramp if more than flight departing at similar times.
Small airport, though still has a cafe and other facilities. There is usually only one flight at a time aswell, so not too busy.
Only downside is no cooling in the gate area, it can be so hot and uncomfortable, apart from that it's an easy airport to use
Small but efficient.
