Local family-run company with a small fleet of fairly new cars and vans/utility vehicles. We were recommended to them by British friends after our car suffered a major fault and we needed an extended hire to get us back to UK to attend to urgent business. Other big name car hire operators either didn't want to know or quoted silly prices. Malet assured us that taking one of their cars to UK and back wasn't an issue, prepared a car for us quickly, and quoted a sensible medium term hire rate. In the event, our UK stay had to be extended. Malet were flexible about this and offered a 5% discount on the initial quoted rate without being asked. Communication with them was excellent - emails were replied to within minutes, and they sent a PDF insurance vignette renewal to us in UK so we wouldn't have any documentation issues when returning to France. If you're looking for friendly, helpful, on-the-ball car hire in the Limoux area, we'd recommend giving Malet a call before going to the big name rental boys at Carcassonne airport.

Great service very good value for money
Went there to help a neighbour get a carte grise for his UK registered car. The person who deals with carte grise applications was very helpful and friendly, but like many French, does not wish to have to answer questions in English.
