Like everyone, I also loved to see everything. Even the atheists should check this out and watch one of the processions. It really brings people together.

Nothing special. We had to wait half an hour or so because the line got closed in front of our noses because the sick and disabled were let in first (which I understand). But if that happens you want to do something else (like visit the church) first.
Pray for world peace and an end to hungers.

There are prayers, in world languages. When I was there in 2011, I saw the prayers in Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, Korean, Chinese, etc. I brought home 2 bottles of water from the well, and they were still cold and nice even after 3 weeks in the tropics.
Place where Bernadette saw the Virgin. Very important peregrination centre for Catholics. There are several religious activities every day. Beside the river.
Nice place to see, if you forget all the religious stuff.
