Very comfortable, and professionally run hotel in a peaceful small town in an but little known area of LA SARTHE. Excellent Restaurant plus Bistro next door using the same kitchen. Glorious garden bordered by a small river, and attractive swimming pool. An unexpected find. Certainly a place to stay again and recommend
You have to like chicken because Loue is apparently famous for it. Disappointingly dinner was not to be in the acclaimed (closed Monday) restaurant but the brasserie next door. Lots of bread! Chicken rillette freebie with toast. Chicken terrine and toast. Half a roast chicken breast, a few chips and bread. We shared our dessert and cheese plates: pavlova and three tiny pieces of cheese with more bread! We didn't leave hungry! Hotel is old fashioned, faded grandeur. Our room had hand painted flowers and cherubs on the walls, no fewer than three closets and two bulbs needed changing. It's a bit tired. Nice firm bed and nice linen. I never did get onto the free WiFi. Breakfast finishes at 10am and is in the painted restaurant overlooking a terrace and garden. We arrived at 9.30; there were 2 pieces of baguette, a slice of ham, 2 of cheese but lots of yoghurt pots and cake. No staff. Another guest arrived after us, surveyed what was left and departed. Evenyually a girl brought us a pot of hot water for tea. It's just about okay but nothing special. There's a small market on Tuesday mornings in Loue. The town is big on pretty flower baskets outside the Mairie and on bridges.

Je recommande vivement ! Personnel très aimable, hôtel très propre, jardin agréable et paisible. Petit-déjeuner en self service avec des produits de qualité. Le restaurant gastronomique vaut vraiment le détour et mériterait une étoile (le pigeon royale est exquis)
Bon accueil, personnel agréable, belle terrasse avec vue jardin. Seule petite chose a redire: dommage de ne pas avoir la carte classique avec les tarifs quand on vient avec une carte cadeau, cela permettrait aux personnes d’avoir une idee du repas et des tarifs pratiqués pour le prochain repas
Nous avons passer une excellente nuit dans cette hôtel chambre très spacieuse literie de très bonne qualité Le dîner était excellent nous nous sommes régaler du début à la fin c'était vraiment délicieux Le personnel était très gentil et à l'écoute Nous reviendrons avec plaisir et très vite j'espère
