Spent 2 and a half months in this amazing school. Eventually had to leave because of covid. We will go back after the crisis and complete the course. Learned so much in a very short time. Came in speaking pigeon french and after 2.5 months we could communicate and understand french to a good level.

I enjoy my study at Alliance Française de Lyon because of the professional and helpful instructors they have here. They created an easygoing atmosphere in class that helped me progress during my 6 months’ stay here. I’m also planning to come back in a summer in the future!!

The best school in the city! Library is perfect, people there are really available and friendly and prepared.

Disappointing how they communicated with me and refused to reimburse the EUR 55 fee paid together with the course fee in January (for the course which were supposed to start end of March). Understandably, the covid crisis impacted businesses and everyone around. But personally, I don't think consumers should take a burden of business costs. Filing a complaint to a respective consumer rights organization in EU/France now.

Really disappointed in the administration at Alliance Français. After the COVID-19 lockdown the director made the decision to fire the majority of the teachers, many who have worked there for over 15 years! The administration doesn’t seem to care about what happens to the teachers or the students, so I can no longer recommend this institution. I will be asking for a refund for the month of July and will be taking French classes elsewhere in the future.

The classes themselves weren't that helpful, besides listening to French. They were crowed, the teachers didn't like the books (the books are pretty useless outside of the class too), and a lot of time was given to in class tasks making progress VERY slow. Horrible management and communication through the pandemic. First, they dragged their feet in officially cancelling the classes, I never got an official email from them about the cancellation. Then they didn't establish online classes or a way to take the tests we were going to take the following week online. Lastly, no refunds yet. You have to chase them down to get your money back and they respond with one liners claiming to refund in \early June\. even though business are allowed to reopen, not the classes but the offices could certainly open if they wanted to do the right thing.

I did a 2 week intensive course with Alliance Française de Lyon and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The classes were interesting and engaging, the teachers very friendly and I learnt a lot from my time there.

I did a 2 weeks course at Aliance Francise de Lyon early September 2019. Its THE BEST 2 weeks I have ever spent learning something not easy to me. Although a debutant , the educators ( Mdm Meriem and Prof Pascal) made every moment enjoyable. My only regret is not staying longer. I am gong to continue now that I am back in Malaysia. ONLYLYON!! Thank You for treating me well!
