This small castle is so beautiful on the outside! If your looking to do a photo shoot, this is a great place. The visit inside the castle is not expensive. It’s not stroller friendly, so parents with babies should take a baby carrier. You can enjoy a walk outside in the garden. Unfortunately, you cannot have a picnic here. This castle has a lot of history, and after your visit, I recommend having a walk in the city center. There are lots of nice bakeries, boutiques and restaurants! Hope you enjoy your visit!

Small yet beautiful, this castle built in a classical French style reminds of the French Empire's glory

One of my favorite castles in the Paris region. I've been here several times and its always good to come back. Usually pretty quiet, no crowds. Nice to know scenes from the english series \Versailles\ were filmed here. The interior of the chateau is fabulous, it looks well maintained. Next to the state rooms and apartments you van also visit the cellars with the kitchens and bathroom.

A classic French chateau inside and out. The front of it is currently under restauration to bring it back to it's former glory. Not too expensive and 10 minutes walk from town centre and train lines.

I liked the Maissons Laffitte neighborhood and the castle is only 10 minutes walking from the train station. It is not too crowded and if you pay your entrance, you have the access for an audio guide. However, in the entrance they told me that there were no more audio guides for me and my friends :/ (neither in English, Spanish or French). I was not sure about it because after us, we saw a French family entering to the castle with audio guides... This was a bad experience but fortunately we could read and listen to a guide. This guy was narrating important information about the castle and he was making jokes with the tourists. It's kind of creepy in the inside but if you have seen everything in Paris, maybe you can spend a half day in this place.
