We have been returning here for over 20 years. We have always received great service. Our children and grandchildren have hired skis, boots and helmets and we have both hired and purchased skis. We have always been charged fairly and are most impressed by the high quality of the stock and the computerised stock control. Anita and Patrice manage their staff well with good results for customers. This is a friendly helpful shop. I feel that Michael Kenyon has not communicated well with the staff. We have returned again in 2019 and hope that we shall be able to return again in 2020. My old ski boots were hurting my feet and Patrice fitted me with a pair of hire ones. They looked and felt almost brand new and allowed me comfortable skiing for the rest of the holiday. I was very tempted to buy them but settled for paying the very reasonable hire charge. If I am still skiing next year I shall probably buy from him. My wife did buy her boots from him more than 10 years ago and might replace them too. If she does, it will be from Veyrat Sports.

Went in to hire ski's and the shop manager supplied me with some that were totally unsuitable (far too small). I took them back for exchange the next day, which they did, the shop assistant seemed perplexed to why I was given the far too short skis in the first instance. I hired the ski's for a total of four and a half days. At the end of the rental period the shop manager said I had hired them for 6 days. He eventually charged for 5 days begrudgingly but only after a long and rather unpleasant remonstration. Poor service and to top it tried to overcharge. Hire your skis elsewhere.
