very extensive market with many stalls. food and fruits look fresh but still a little pricey. especially recommend the oyster stall towards the start of the market near Boulevard du Montparnasse, they have fresh oysters at great prices and are really friendly too!

Not the best in Paris but a good choice for a Saturday stroll and some grocery shopping. The best stores include the cheese shop with only 3 cheeses; the Périgord pig store and -depending on the season- plenty of fish stalls as well.
