Loved our long weekend stay here!! Grand exteriors, stunning modern interiors, such a stand out from the usual château stays in the area. The absolute highlight of the experience is the chef/owner Marwan who provided delightful and delicious meals in their new Food Lab. It was such a privilege to have the opportunity to stay here, thank you!!!

Time at Chateau Engalin feels like time suspended, like the weight of history being borne effortlessly on the shoulders of modernity. To see and hear the story of its renaissance is to appreciate the endeavour, perseverance and vision that has made it such a unique place. Marwan and Jeremy have created something that is difficult to adequately encapsulate in words. Chateau Engalin is a world to enter in to, luxuriate in and marvel at- it is unlike anywhere I have ever stayed or expect to stay again.
This place is unbelievably special. It is in a beautiful location and is decorated with great attention to detail. It’s sumptuous! We ate delicious food, from simple suppers to elaborate banquets. Marwan and Jeremy made us all feel so welcome and it was a wonderfully memorable few days.
I’ve just returned back from Chateau Engalin - it is unbelievably beautiful and very relaxing. We had an excellent 3 night stay there. The rooms are fantastic and peaceful - the beds are amazing! Haven’t slept that well in years. The food is out of this world too. Bbq lamb YES PLEASE. Great food ethics too. I came home feeling great and can’t wait to return. Thanks Jeremy and Marwan for a brilliant stay. Oh and the home cinema is amazing for a late night Bond film.
What a special place this is! We just had the privilege to spend a long weekend at Chateau Engalin to celebrate a dear friend's birthday. Marwan and Jeremy are the perfect hosts and their style, creativity, and generosity extends to every corner and detail of the house. The delicious food is brilliantly designed (and demonstrated if you so choose!) by Marwan who will go out of his way to accommodate all dietary requirements. The shared spaces are grand, stylish and sophisticated without being at all pretentious or intimidating; it felt like a home from home for the weekend which I wouldn't have thought possible. The bedrooms, whether in the main house or the barn are also beautifully designed and so comfortable with exceptionally good beds and the best linen. And then there is the pool and the grounds...so much loveliness, so relaxing, what a treat! Thank you Marwan and Jeremy, we hope to see you again very soon. Love and best wishes, Jo & Jude xxx
Stylish uber cool chateau - the perfect platform for togetherness. We came to celebrate a 50th birthday with 5 families and an age range of 10-80 years. Marwan and his team made us all feel so welcome and the celebration dinner he prepared was just incredible. We swam we ate we danced we talked we drank we walked and we laughed. We can’t wait to come back.
Chateau Engalin is a magical location with divine views. Seventeen family members from 10 to 79 years old had a ball celebrating a 50th birthday and coincidentally a 55th wedding anniversary. The accommodation was of very high quality in the Chateau and the barn and Marwan and Jeremy were perfect hosts. The whole thing was stylish, comfortable, relaxed and we were fed superbly. Thank you for a very memorable visit.
