Lovely new museum covering the impacts on civilian life during World War 2. I hadn't fully appreciated the day to day impacts on everyday people. Have me a new lens on the war. The exhibits were very interesting! The introduction video was excellent and immersive.

Excellent thought provoking museum/ memorial. However, the organisors could expand the memorial to civilan victims and survivors of all conflicts. At present the memorial concentrated mainly on the impact of first and second world wars. It is possible that such expansion of remit could be supported the budget of the European Union.

What an interesting memorial, I loved listening to the locals recalling their experience of the war. It was very moving in places...a must visit!

Very well laid out but you need the audio guide to make the most of it.

A very detailed museum about a side of the war that I didn't know too much about. The point of view of the French civilians in occupied territories was well told with translations for everything you need to read and an audio guide if you want. Very clean and modern looking museum with a small shop area. Worth a visit
