Brill town.... worth visiting
My comments are more related to the town of Menton. The traffic is horrendous and completely out of control. To cross a street you literally risk life and limb! The scooters and motor cycles deux-roues (d-r)) are the worst, with speeds of 80 - 100kph in evidence on a regular basis on narrow single lane streets. There is no police presence and I have witnessed displays of driving that would qualify as \dangerous operation of a motor vehicle\ if in Canada. The noise from these machines is a danger to ones hearing. The more powerful have straight through exhaust systems with no mufflers. The small scooters which only have a clutch and no gear system are unbelievably noisy when driven at speeds they are not designed for.
